Tournament Information Management and Scheduling System

Recognizing the majority of the work for tournaments and leagues is usually done by volunteers, and that organizations running these leagues and tournaments are non-profit, Sabino Creek developed STIMS to reduce the time required to administer, schedule, and report results for tournament and league play at a cost that won’t impact the financials of the organization. STIMS is a full featured multi user solution, and since the application is hosted on Sabino Creek servers, you don’t have to worry about backups, system crashes, etc. And best of all, even though it is hosted, you can run your tournament without an internet connection because we recognize that most field complexes are lacking good internet connections! With its easy to use screens and reporting, the software has been designed to be easily deployed and up and running in hours.

STIMS encompasses all tasks related to runni ng a tournament including:

  • Manual Team Entry or Automatic using Tournament Online Registration
  • Totally customizable
  • Flight sizes, the number of groups and their sizes within flights, number of teams advancing from pool play, wild card teams, cross group play, league configurations (up to 32 per flight, any number of games automatically configured)
  • Placing teams in flights
  • Fields – Field availability, assigning genders and ages to fields, etc.
  • Tournament and League point system rules (i.e. 3 points win, 1 point for draw; 6 points for win, 3 points for draw, 1 point per goal up to 3, 1 point for shutout)
  • Tie Breaker Rules
  • On line or off line score entry
  • Advancing Teams - STIMS automatically advances the correct teams to the elimination rounds based upon pool play results and the score/tie breaker rules. It continues to advance teams as results are submitted.
  • Reporting Results – Score sheets with results and points can be printed. Standings, schedules with scores, and score sheets automatically updated on web site or viewed via cell phone using QCIC (Quick Cellular Information Center)
  • Posting Schedules – Schedules automatically posted on web site
  • Comprehensive reporting including schedules, game cards with team information, referee pay envelope labels, field usage, referee assigning worksheet, scoring table reports (to record scores phoned in), entry fee report, etc.

The Interconnect software tool from Sabino Creek was developed to provide an easy to use interface tool kit to integrate disparate systems.

Sabino Creek has developed a tool kit to facilitate the interfacing of a multitude of disparate systems and the corresponding data into WinMan and other software systems. The product was originally designed to facilitate initial data loads during the implementation process. It grew to encompass integrating warehousing, PDM, barcoding and other important ERP applications.

The Interconnect tool was built on the .Net® foundation framework from Microsoft Corporation and takes advantage of the robust features that .Net® provides.
